East Cheshire NHS Trust’s Maternity services offer a team approach to midwifery care with the aim of providing continuous support and continuity of care. It offers the opportunity to book directly with the midwifery team that is linked to your local area and to continue with that team throughout your pregnancy journey. Our philosophy of care demonstrates a mother, partner and baby centered maternity service, which is designed to meet individual needs and wishes throughout pregnancy, childbirth and the early days of parenthood.

Midwife led Setting: Home or Alongside Birth Centre
Obstetric led Setting: Maternity Unit, Macclesfield District General Hospital
One-to-one care in labour, ensuite facilities and birthing pools available in all settings
Car Parking: On-site parking at Macclesfield District Hospital, charges apply
